Woman-to-Woman (Isha LeReuta)
This is a collaborative project between The Haifa Center for Chi.L.D. and Social Welfare Services of the Haifa Municipality. Women volunteers from the community have been trained to make house visits and help women who are having difficulty in functioning and running their homes. Guidance to mothers in the arena of the home, can make a dramatic difference. The Haifa Center trains the volunteers professionally by providing a series of lectures on relevant topics such as abuse, marriage counseling, and more.
Topics covered in the lectures include:
- Psychiatric Treatment for children and youth including difficulties such as: sleeping disorders, behavioral problems, eating disorders, trauma and distress,anxiety, obsessive behaviors.
- Dyadic Treatments using Expressive Therapies - to strengthen the parent-child relationship and to know when to use this type of treatment.
- Couples Therapy - unique aspects of this type of therapy in the orthodox community
