Workshops

On Thursday 15/7 at 17.30 a workshop on the topic of   "Acquiring Social Skills thru' Games" will take place at the Ma'or Yehuda Synagogue, 13a Blitental Street, Haifa.
The workshop will be presented by Gail Suskin, MA, movement therapist – using movement games for children and adults as a way to improve social skills. The lecturer will include emotional aspects and Snoezelen Room therapy.

On Wednesday 21/7 at the time and same venue: "Markers for early assessment of difficulties in kindergarten age children" – will be presented by an occupational therapist – Orit Gaspar. Typical development and markers to help discover difficulties to enable early intervention and treatment will be discussed. In addition, the lecturer will address problems in organization, presenting practical solutions. We all know kids who are forever dropping things, losing things, forgetting to return objects to their places and never get to school on time. These children have difficulty in getting organized. The lecture will deal with this phenomenon and will give practical tips to help children and their parents in this area.
